Smarter travel for Ørsted's travelers
Safety, comfort and an efficient travel administration process. Three things that are key for Danish energy company Ørsted when sending their employees on business trips worldwide. So as you can imagine we are very proud that they have chosen Amadeus cytric Travel & Expense for their corporate travel booking!
I’m super excited that Denmark’s largest energy company – Ørsted – has chosen our Amadeus cytric Travel & Expense solution for their 3,500 global travelers. Not only because this is a major contract in Scandinavia for cytric (which we launched just 12 months ago). But also because we see Ørsted as a company which shares similar values to us when it comes to innovation and partnerships.
I am also happy that it is Amadeus long-term partner GBT who will deliver the technology to Ørsted. GBT has been servicing Ørsted for several years on Amadeus e-Travel Management and will now continue to deliver a state of the art travel service to Ørsted. More time on core business – less on travel administration
Over the years Ørsted has evolved from a Danish operation with primarily European travel, to a global leader in green and offshore wind energy. For Karin Birkmose, Ørsted’s Global Travel Manager – who has worked for the company for 10 years – their travel policy is all about sending out their travelers in a cost-conscious way and making sure they have everything they need to make their trip as safe and comfortable as possible.
Ørsted didn’t want their employees to waste too much time worrying about their travel administration. Instead, they should focus on what’s more important to them – providing energy to the world: “Using Amadeus cytric Travel & Expense as an online tool, we are sure that it is intuitive and easy to use. The best thing of all is actually that we have a supplier that is willing to change”, says Karin Birkmose.
No losers in this game
Ørsted is not alone in seeing the benefits in an intuitive and easy to use online booking tool. As a frequent traveler myself, I can honestly say that cytric makes life much simpler. It was designed for business travelers and companies can adapt it according to their travel policy.
So, cytric is pretty darn good! But, we’re not done yet. We’ve already integrated cytric with Microsoft Outlook and Salesforce. And we have some more pretty cool stuff coming your way as we plan to add Artificial Intelligence features like chatbots and voice recognition.
